An Austrian M43 Style Gendarmerie Cap By Litto - Mütze Of Vienna Hold 1898 in Kingston-on-ThamesThis is a well preserved Austrian Gendarmerie Police cap in the style of the well known M43 cap, constructed of green wool, with fold down side and back panels with downward scallops to the front. The front of the cap features a German Police cap eagle in aluminum with a tri colour cockade with a well preserved and very bright red wool centre. Towards the front, beneath the police insignia are two metal (magnetic) buttons that serve to hold the two
