A First War Oldenburg Medal Bar Archive The Battalion was raised inPrussia: Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914 (silver frame, with iron core, magnetic, "KO" (Knigliches Mnzamt Orden) on the ring, 42. 7 mm); Oldenburg: Friedrich August Cross, 2nd Class, 1 Clasp VOR DEM FEINDE (blackened iron, magnetic, 39. 5 mm); and Imperial: German Reich War Veteran Organization "Kyffhauser" Medal (bronze gilt, 31 mm x 44 mm). Mounted to a trapezoid metal suspension with swing bar pinback, original ribbons, surface rust evident on the FAC,
