Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period correct replacement ribbon, the obverse with an Iron Cross bearing a date of 1813 inside of a laurel and oak leaf wreath, with sun rays emanating from the arms of the cross, the reverse with a central monogram of Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm, topped by a royal crown and above an inscription PREUSSENS TAPFERN KRIEGERN (PRUSSIAS BRAVE WARRIORS), circumscribed by
