An award document for an Iron Cross, I Class, constructed of off white paper with black ink, named to MASCHINENOBERGEFREITEN ALFONS ENDERLE, dated 6 March 1942, with a handwritten signature of Vizeadmiral Karl Dnitz, measuring 140 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), minor material fatigue evident, in overall near extremely fine condition, and; a black and white photograph of Enderle aboard Type IXB U Boat U 108, the reverse with a
