A Luftwaffe field lantern, constructed of a silver grey painted aluminum frame, the sides featuring four opaque glass panels situated under crossed aluminum bars, topped by a rounded swivel dome perforated with eyelets to allow heat and smoke to ventilate, in turn flanked by loops accommodating a suspension clip, one side panel opening with a functional sliding lock to reveal a hollow interior featuring a candle slot, the
