Born in a freshwater stream, the young fish make their way to the ocean, adapting to the salty sea where they live for many years. At the end of their lives, the salmon return to their stream of birth in order to spawn new life. "The salmon lives so a new generation can be born," shares Bethany Fackrell, the Snoqualmie artist who designed our Regeneration Journal. "Their journey of survival is something that
