Germany, Heer. A Krim Shield Newly Listed The high-quality and early-period dagger(Heer Krimschild). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a shield bearing a map of Crimea and southern Ukraine, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates 1941 1942, affixed with all four reverse attachment prongs to a magnetic metal backplate with a field grey wool liner indicating Heer issue, unmarked, the shield measuring 51. 33 mm (w) x 60. 94 mm (h), with oxidation and
