The 3" windowpane plaid design is the result of two layers: the top layer is a charcoal gray "eyelet" wool with a weave that creates slightly sheer lines with a square hole at each intersection. It is backed with a fine solid mustard knit, which peeks through the sheer lines and the holes. The two layers are fused together.
